Want to be a volunteer? If you live in the Durham area and are 18 or older, potential recruits go through an application and interview process every September/October. Once accepted, there is a county-wide volunteer academy that spans most of the fall and winter. If you are interested, sign up at this website: www.joinbcfd.org.

Once qualified to respond, volunteers usually meet every first and third Wednesday of each month, with some additional trainings that are less scheduled.

Below is the link to order signs and posts. These are high-quality, highly reflective signs that will last decades. We will only make your order when we receive payment with the completed order form. Since we typically make signs monthly, it may be up to 4 weeks before we are able to make your signs. We will contact you when they are ready for pick-up.
